Iranian short ‘No Comment’ to vie in India

Iranian ‘No Comment’ is to compete at the 2020 India Int'l Science Festival.

Iranian short flick ‘No Comment’ has been selected to compete at the 5th edition of the India International Science Festival (IISF).

Directed by Zhivar Farajzadeh, the short film deals with the issue of child workers and depicts the difficulties these children are facing during the coronavirus crisis.

'No Comment' experienced its first international presence at the 2020 DYTIATKO International Children’s Media Festival in Ukraine.

Farajzadeh’s other successful short film ‘Serok’ has recently won an award at the Spi Stories 2020 “Abbiamo bisogno di uguaglianza/ We need equality” in Italy.

Launched in 2015, the IISF aims to celebrate Science and Technology. According to the festival’s official website, “it aims to demonstrate how science could lead India towards a developed nation within a short span of time”.

The event intends to inspire interest and make learning more satisfying.

The 2020 edition of the event is slated for December 22-25.
